Wallace Colquitt was born on October 23, 1933 in Oscilla, Ga to the late Willie Bee and Charlie Colquitt.
A Time To Love
Wallace married the love of his life, Minnie Foulks, who preceded him in death.
A Time For Family
Wallace had so much love for his family. He was a proud father to his 7 girls and 4 boys. He was a funny man with a great personality and just a joy to be around. Growing up he was one of 16 siblings and loved every one of them
A Time To Serve
Wallace was an active member of St John United Methodist Church for over 35 years. Wallace served in multiple capacities until God called him home.
A Time To Mourn
On Friday, July 12th, God petitioned his angels to come down and usher him into his final resting place.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Clinton, Willie, W.C, Preston, James, Tuk, Robert, and Charlie; and sisters Sylvia, Harriet, Daisy, Idella, and Janie Mae.
He leaves to cherish his memories: 10 of his most prized Possessions, His Loving Children; Karen, Maurice (Otamaya), Valencia (Michael), Diahann, Donell (Leslie), Rodney, Teresa (Christopher), Mavis, Tonya, and Tracey. Goddaughter Shantrail, 1 sister Elizabeth Paulk, and 1 brother Will (Georgia) Colquitt; 18 Grandchildren, a host of Great Grands, best friends Mr. & Mrs. John Johnson, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and in-laws who were all special to him.
