On December 7, 2023, Malette Yvonne LeSane wended her Final Mile to Victory, and peacefully entered eternal rest. Yet, her influence and aroma of genuine love remains. Malette was fearfully, and wonderfully created in the image and likeness of God. Set aside, appointed, and anointed to “Walk In Her Own Shoes”. Born on May 18, 1967, to the union of the late Lorris and Emma LeSane in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She completed her studies in healthcare sciences, and served her community as a registered nurse for more than two decades. Following her retirement the selfless, and altruistic love for healing people did not end. This would later be exemplified through the passion of being her father's caregiver. Malette accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior, and served under the leadership of True Deliverance Ministry (the late Pastor Shirley Mitchell), and Greater Works Ministry Institute( Pastor Dennis Maxwell, and Ambassador Angela Mathis). Operating in the Five-Fold ministry of Jesus, and being a witness of the undeniable power of God. Through prayer, fasting, obedience, and for the love of God's people the ministry of “Broken but Not Destroyed” came into fruition. Malette trained, and led many disciples of Jesus Christ. Who are now left with the mantle and mandate to continue their race. Malette affectionately answered to many names; professional author, luxury interior designer, fragrance creator “Adore My Heart”, pastor, prophet, and friend. However, there's nothing she loved more than being called “Momma”. There was no sacrifice she wouldn't make for her children! She unapologetically loved them, and worked relentlessly to be their provider. Intentionally teaching them the will and ways of God, so that they can live abundantly under the shadows of The Almighty. The highlight of her life were her grandchildren, and she loved having them around. Malette is predeceased by her son Sheldon Brown, parents Lorris and Emma LeSane, (Annie LeSane), sisters Dorris Ross, and Brenda Funchess. The life and legacy of Malette Yvonne LeSane will be cherished and remembered by her children: Shantel Gilbert, Tamlyn Jones, Tetric Jones, Cordero LeSane, Roderio LeSane, DeAndre Lamar, Dominique Wells, and Danielle Simmons all of Broward County, Florida; her siblings: Anthony Ross of St. Pete, Florida, George Funchess(Yvonne) of South Carolina, Cindy White of North Carolina, Angela Mathis(Frazier) of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Ylonda LeSane of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, her grandchildren: Jeremiah Jones, Azariah Singletary, Roderio LeSane Jr., Samara Brown, Nadia Gilbert, Diamond Jones, Tiara McCloud, and Titan Dwyer. Special Uncles: Robert LeSane, and Nathaniel Kerson. Special friends: Christie, Vana, Tasha, and Mark. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
