Earl Lavon Holmes Jr.

Earl Lavon Holmes was born November 15,1975 to Patricia A. Holmes and Earl Johnson (deceased). 
He grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, whereby he attended Dillard High and Fort Lauderdale High Schools.  
 
Earl was a remarkable man who touched the lives of everyone he'd met, leaving a lasting impression of kindness, humor, and love. He was one that made you laugh, cry, or inspired you. Earl had an affectionate personality. Despite any trials and/or tribulations, he always found a way to smile. He was a hard worker in the scaffolding industry and was passionate about the assets he contributed to any company. In his free time, Earl enjoyed fishing, drinking Coronas, and spending time with family. For these and other things, he will truly be missed. 
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Johnson; Grandmother, Mary Lou Holmes; and Grandfathers, Carl Johnson and Jefferson Holmes Sr.  
 
He leaves to cherish precious memories, His Fiancé: Shantrail Baker; His step children: Eric Stoveall and Ariana Stoveall; His daughter: Kashay Bruton; Stepfather: Rod Robinson; Grandmother: Helen Johnson; Sisters: Shannon Holmes-Robinson (Wayne Philpart), Shanta Robinson, and Shuwanna Robinson-Laurent (Travis Laurant); Brother: Rodney Robinson Jr.; Nieces: J’nyla Shaw, Ta'raji Robinson, and Empress Philpart; Nephews: Jarvis Walker Jr., Jamar Dixon Jr, Major Parker, Travis Laurant Jr, Jakolby Laurant, and Sameer Laurant; Aunts: Bernice Holmes, Betty Holmes, Joann Johnson, and Rosa Bray ( Everett); Uncles: Jefferson Holmes Jr., David Holmes and Carl Johnson ; Special cousin: Latavis Johnson (Jesse); Best Friends: Nathaniel Robinson and Christifa Knowles; And a host of sorrowing cousins, friends, and other relatives.
