Cedric Nathaniel Paschall “Ceejay” was born in Albany, GA on June 3, 1997, to loving parents Angel Paschall and Cedric Lines. Cedric was also the first grandson to Doris Paschall and the late Nathaniel Paschall Jr affectionately known as “PaPa”- and would become a forever mentor. Cedric attended school in the private and public sector where he graduated and received his high school Diploma. When Cedric was four years old his mom would hear him singing, dancing, and making words rhyme throughout their home. The words would be fused together and would soon become a poetic song. Cedric knew who he was and who he was destined to be. Music was always in his plans. He loved to write songs and create beats. During his sixth-grade year he meet some friends that had similar music passions and they shared that an older kid had a music studio in his home. Cedric knew he would need permission to go into anyone’s home and knew that his mom would want to meet the older kids’ parents. After agreeing to the studio and meeting his friends’ parents’ mom was pleasantly surprised to see that the older kid’s parent was a childhood friend and neighbor. So, the beginning of many twenty-five-dollar weekend sessions at the studio had began. Cedric would be there for hours and would have easily written and produced six to eight songs each time he came home. His father would educate him on copyright laws and how important it was to own his brand. He would mail original songs to himself giving him full ownership of his music masters. Cedric recognized his God given talent and wrote and produced hundreds of songs. Moving into his late teens Cedric started to write about what he witnessed and what his friends and associates were experiencing. The evolution of “26Ceejay” was born. Cedric was a real and bold artist. He wasn’t afraid of what others thought of him or his music. He wrote from his heart and rapped from his soul. There were many conversations shared with his best friend and brother DJ, his uncles Shawn and Calvaire, his favorite cousin Derrick, his God brother BT, his brother/cousin Devin, his brother Dustin on loyalty and being true to self. Cedric “26Ceejay” lived each day of his life to the fullest. He expressed his love for his family, true friends and most important over all his love and adoration for his son Armon. Through him his legacy will live on. On March 28, 2023, God said I need you my child here in Heaven with me. As God came down from heaven, he wasn’t alone. Cedric’s PaPa, his grandpa Gus, his great grandmother Dorothy and his uncle Ulysses and aunts Darlene and Wanda were all with God. They wouldn’t have it any other way. Cedric is survived by his mother Angel Paschall, his father Cedric Lines, his Honorary father Darien Brooks, his brother and best friend Darien W. Brooks II, his three sisters Latoria Brooks, LaStarsha Brooks and Tiffany Nicodemus, his two grandmothers Doris Paschall-Martin(Carl), Evelyn Flowers, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
