Bernice Fields

Bernice Fields was born on March 15, 1934 to the late Luther Johnson and Roddie Jackson in Camilla, Georgia. Bernice moved to Florida. She was was united in holy matrimony to the late James Fields on April 7, 1951. Bernice accepted Christ at an early age. She was the Mother of the church at Faith in Jesus Ministries, until she felled ill, and was unable to come to the house of worship. Bernice departed this life on Friday, September 8, 2023. She is preceded in death by her sisters Jannie Crump, Betty Barrett, Mary Tillman, and Annie Hunter. Bernice leaves to cherish her memories…son, James Fields and daughter in law, Christine Fields of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; son William Maddox of Baltimore, MD; brother, Walter Jackson (Sherry); sisters Sherry Pate (James) ,  Alice Pearl Smart (Clarence), Fannie Jackson Evan, Minnie Lee Jackson, and Bettie Jean Jackson all of Georgia; grandchildren, Tikeila, Loki (Tasha), Ezekiel, Bobby of Ft. Lauderdale and William, Lettitia, Jere of Maryland; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grand and a host of nieces, relatives, and friends.
