Alphonso Bernard Lewis was born on July 24th, 1999 to his parents, Walter Bernard Lewis Sr. and Sonya Denise Wilkins. Alphonso was a loving and caring young man, who loved being with his family, he loved playing video games, going to the beach and family get-togethers. Alphonso attended Coconut Creek High School, where he met his fiancee Lila Hemans, whom he loved dearly. They had two beautiful daughters together, Bella and Amera Lewis.
Alphonso Bernard Lewis, beloved son, loving father and devoted fiance, passed away in the early hours of September 1st, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
His Father Walter Lewis Sr. preceded him in death.
Alphonso will be forever remembered by his mother, Sonya Wilkins, stepfather, Orville Wilkins, grandmother, Bessie Hackett, fiancee, Lila Hemans, two daughters Bella Lewis, Amera Lewis, four sisters, Jessica Singletary, Shawanna Kelly, Shanika Lewis, Shamira Lewis, 6 brothers, John Henry Gardner Jr., Demetrius Gardner, Curtis Gardner, Walter Lewis Jr., Tyrell Lewis and Dorion Wilson, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
